IHG and BIM Group unveil the first "valley resort" in Vietnam under the InterContinental brand

Hanoi, September 15, 2023, IHG® Hotels & Resorts, the world's leading hotel management company, and BIM Real Estate Joint Stock Company, a member of the BIM Group, have signed a cooperation agreement to develop InterContinental Thanh Xuan Valley Resort, which is part of the Thanh Xuan Valley project. This marks the first valley resort for the InterContinental Hotels & Resorts brand in Vietnam. 

Mr. Paul Cunningham represented IHG® Hotels & Resorts and Mr. Adam Riley represented BIM Group at the signing ceremony. The HMA was completed with the advisory of Ark Capital Partners.

InterContinental Thanh Xuan Valley Resort is situated at the heart of the Thanh Xuan Valley residential and tourism area, renowned for its distinctive "pine city" with a sprawling area of 170 hectares. The area is surrounded by mountainside and 50-year-old pine forests, and boasts of 8 natural lakes and streams. The resort is located close to Dai Lai Lake and Thanh Cao Lake, and is less than an hour's drive from Hanoi city center. Thanh Xuan Valley was designed to be an ideal destination for residential communities and upscale resort guests, particularly those who appreciate the InterContinental life.

InterContinental Thanh Xuan Valley Resort - the first valley resort for the InterContinental Hotels & Resorts brand in Vietnam. 

InterContinental Thanh Xuan Valley Resort is expected to open in 2027 with 171 hotel rooms and 97 private villas. It will boast a 5-star utility system that meets IHG's global standards, including a high-class restaurant, spa and wellness area, infinity pool, and conference rooms. The resort will also feature tree top villas, which are luxury hotel rooms amidst the trees and is a first of its kind. 

Situated in the heart of Thanh Xuan Valley residential and tourism area, the resort is surrounded by beautiful scenery, including a pine forest, mountain, and a vast lake. Guests can enjoy a range of facilities, including a farm, 10km trekking route, zipline between pine forests, parks, and shopping areas. IHG Hotels & Resorts is not only developing and managing the hotel and resort projects in Thanh Xuan Valley, but also directly managing and operating the Country Club by InterContinental Thanh Xuan Valley Resort. This unique Mediterranean-style clubhouse boasts over 11,300 square metres of space and offers many exclusive amenities for upper-class residents.

Tree Top Villa - luxury hotel rooms located halfway between the trees will be a unique highlight of InterContinental Thanh Xuan Valley Resort.
