Explore the beauteous Triathlon route at Phu Quoc

The Triathlon route at BIM Group 5150 Phu Quoc was recently announced on the Ironman international website. Athletes will fully experience the beauty of Phu Quoc Marina and admire the typical works of BIM Land when participating in the tournament.

1.5km swimming

The swimming path is designed in an equilateral triangle, each side is 500m in length. Athletes depart from the Beach Square, swim clockwise, and experience the peaceful waves at Long Beach, Phu Quoc on beautiful November days. It is well known for being the cleanest and most attractive swimming Triathlon race in Vietnam before.

Beach Square or Mussel Square (called by locals) because of the iconic building, which is also the race's starting point this year. The square is located at the end of Carnival Avenue, right next to the beach, between the two ideal check-in points: InterContinental Long Beach Resort and Phu Quoc Waterfront 3-storey infinity pool. Moreover, Beach Square has striking rows of houses, which are luxurious and romantic Colonial architecture.

40km cycling

The 40 km cycling race is around Phu Quoc Marina. The race consists of 2 loops, 20km each loop, starting from Beach Square, going along Carnival Avenue through the main gate, continuing to DT975, and then turning back.

On the way from Beach Square to the main gate, on the first leg, the athletes will pass the Sailing Club Phu Quoc Signature Resort, which has just come into operation. Returning, on the left, is the Palm Garden, which has a contemporary European style with green palm trees. The athletes could immerse themselves in the green space of a coastal city.

10km running

The 10km race divides into two rounds, 5km per round. The athletes could experience the beautiful sceneries when coming across InterContinental Phu Quoc Long Beach Resort's green tree-lined road, around Marina Square, running along the coastal road, and passing the newly established 6-star Regent Phu Quoc resort. Finally, athletes returned to the coastal road. 

The subtlety of choosing the main race is the transition in color and atmosphere of each point. Marina Square has the green campus of InterContinental Phu Quoc Long Beach Resort and a colorful array of 7-storey Mediterranean style houses. The next stage is the breathtaking view of Regent Phu Quoc. "Green" construction - BIM Group's trademark in Phu Quoc, where participants could immerse in nature and enjoy the ocean atmosphere.

"BIM Group 5150 Phu Quoc" Triathlon is scheduled to be held on November 20, 2022, belonging to the series of 5150 Triathlon races under World Triathlon Corporation (WTC), including 1.5km swimming, 40km cycling, and 10km running. This is the first time Triathlon has taken place in Vietnam and Phu Quoc Marina, located in the center of Long Beach, is the longest and most attractive beach in Phu Quoc. Phu Quoc Marina is the ideal choice since there are a number of the world's leading hospitality groups such as InterContinental, Sailing Club, and Regent,…, satisfying all the demands of eating - playing - relaxing.
At Phu Quoc Marina, besides the competition day, visitors can admire the sunset in Phu Quoc at INK 360 bar; dine at the pool bar and Ombra Italian restaurant. Moreover, besides the competition, enjoying the 3-storey infinity pool at Phu Quoc Waterfront, Sailing Club Phu Quoc, Sea Festival, and Phu Quoc Marina Beach Fest are also ideal activities for visitors. These activities will take place during the event.
