Long An Provincial Museum - Library, a project sponsored by BIM Group with architectural design by Van Aelst - Nguyen & Associates, received a special nomination in the Unbuilt Cultural Works category of A+ Architizer 2024 awards.
The architectural award, sponsored by the Architizer organization, honors outstanding architectural projects and works of the year. Previously, the Long An Museum and Library project was also honored in the 44th World Architecture Community Awards list.
The design of Long An Provincial Museum – Library is inspired by the local rural architecture of Long An, featuring the rustic charm of single-story pitched-roof houses and the courtyard's spatial organization, which celebrates artistry, craft, and local materials such as tiles, bricks, and clay.
