This Singapore-based Group is known as the king of operating international serviced apartments with three main brands: Ascott, Somerset and Citadines. The Ascott Limited has joined hands with BIM Land, one of Viet Nam's largest real estate developers, to launch Citadines Marina Halong. The project is located on the peninsula of Halong Marina.
Citadines Marina Halong is one of the few international real estate projects with an international brand name in Hạ Long. With the design by Archetype Group, 100 per cent of the apartments have a "heritage vision". The project offers a variety of utilities such as a sky bar, indoor pool, infinity pool, restaurant, supermarket, gym, playground and smart parking system. Citadines Marina Halong focuses on the core values honouring the beauty of the heritage. The project is expected to be handed over to customers in the first quarter of 2020.
The next big brands in the international cooperation list
Pursuing the creation of a new legacy for future generations and continuing the strategic journey of "cooperation with giants", in 2019, a series of big names in hotel management industry will continue to be implemented by BIM Land in Halong Marina.
In the third quarter of 2019, the Grand Bay Halong project – a five-star entertainment resort complex adjacent to the Gulf coast stretching over 1km, embracing the expansive view of the seafront, will be launched in Quảng Ninh Province.
Also located on the peninsula of Halong Marina, the Grand Bay Halong project is a five-star complex including resort hotels and residential villas, in which the luxury resorts and villas will be managed and operated by the prestigious brand Centara Hotel & Resort, a well-known hotel management group known for luxury projects around the world such as in the Maldives, Oman and Sri Lanka. This is the first model of resort and villa living in Quảng Ninh Province which is managed and operated by an international reputable management unit.
In the first phase in October 2019, the Grand Bay Townhouse will be launched with 106 adjacent villas providing residents with a unique lifestyle – “Home Resort: Living inside the Resort.”
The Grand Bay Halong five-star entertainment resort complex is designed by WATG – one of the world's leading design consultants with over 70 years of experience in the hospitality industry.
In addition, in 2019, another big name expected by real estate investors is the five-star InterContinental Halong Bay project. This will be the most advanced project in Hạ Long-Quảng Ninh to date. The project marks the long-term cooperation between BIM Land and the world's leading hotel management group IHG.
Prior to this, BIM Land and IHG cooperated and gradually put into operation a series of five-star hotels in Laos – Crowne Plaza Vientiane and Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Vientiane, in Phú Quốc with InterContinental Phu Quoc Long Beach Resort and Regent Phu Quoc.
It is not easy for a resort real estate project in Việt Nam to receive the nod of a world-class management corporation. These corporations are very strict in choosing projects for development.
